One of the highlights of SA Fashion Week has to be the traditional Jameson Opening Party which was held at Katy's Palace this season. The fashion community donned its very best and came out in full force to see and be seen. Many of the attending celebrities were dressed by some of the designers showcasing at SA Fashion Week. Naturally we were there to add our sixpence worth.

People normally ask if we intentionally co-ordinate our outfits so we decided to do just that |

Interviews interviews and more interviews - chatting to Shashi Naidoo (top) for Tongue In Cheek and with Lerato Kganyako for The Link (below) |
Carmel Fisher, in a full length Rubicon gown, was one of the first celebrities to arrive. |
Gert-Johan Coetzee looked dramatic in his black and white houdstooth jacket. He didn't stay for much of the festivities - just long enough to make sure Jay Anstey's GJC gown would not disappoint. |
Mr South Africa, John Owens, was excited to be present. |
Zak Patel looked radiant in her feathery Ryan Keys gown |
We were fortunate enough to meet Mela presenter Kajal Bagwandeen who flew in from Durban especially for the occasion |
MichaelLa Russell was dressed by ERRE Fashion |
One of the outfits grabbing a lot of attention was Khanyi Mbau's Ryan Keys gown |
Denise Zimba was there covering the event for Vuzu |
It is always fun chatting to Louise Carver who was also dressed by her good friend Gert-Johan Coetzee |
It was also refreshing to meet some people we had not met before like Isibaya's Nomzamo Mbatha who was also supporting Ryan Keys |
Undoutedly the most dramatic outfit of the evening was the one worn by Tamerin Jardine. Her ERRE Fashion stunner was a real head-turner |
We always love bumping into Chiano Sky who had us in stitches towards the end of the evening. |
Entertainment was provided by rap besties AKA and Da Les. Da Les seemed quite taken by Chiano Sky's JJ Schoeman dress. |
Janez Vermeiren was on top form much to the delight of all the women in the house |
Janez and Chiano clowning around. Janez borrowed Alan's glasses for this shot. |
