LALLA x LEGIT - Munro Boutique Hotel, Johannesburg

Lalla Hirayama has all the markings of a star on the rise: beautiful, talented, graceful and engaging. Her latest venture lends her star quality to a range of clothing for Legit. In addition to Lalla's glamour, she has also added playful and trendy touches to this new range. We were there to experience the launch of this new collaboration at a magnificent setting overlooking Johannesburg...

Spring colours for the duo:
Alan chose a green gingham shirt with his new white Europa Art patent leather loafers
Krishen went for green pants and a more casual look sporting a Burberry jacket

Lalla looked dazzling in stripes from the new range
She was incredibly excited to share her labour of love with us

On-trend: Black & White tones dominated the collection
We loved some of the Lalla-esque wording on t-shirts!

Antics with Anne Dolinschek and Mika Stefano (right) -
posing with ostrich eggs and trying not to drop them
(while looking pretty)

Refilwe Modiselle looked ravishing in red

We loved Nandi Mngoma's look for the evening: patterned, textured and skin-hugging
(how wrong can a girl go?)

Moneoa entertained the crowd with her ethereal voice

Oh, how we love bumping into this man
(we try to do it as often as possible)
Seen here with Maps Maponyane

Always a pleasure seeing Roxy Burger
We also had the pleasure of meeting her partner at OhOneOne, Sarah Ann Mitchell

Mika up to no good again:
unfortunately for us (and Alan's Louis bag),
there were lots of marshmallows and sweets on offer
Mika didn't eat any but made sure we did!

Chris Nkosi trying to get a shot of the Jelly Bean stash in Alan's bag

'irony' (noun), definition:
Discussing Melanie Ramjee's rigorous training schedule for the 94.7 cycle challenge
- with a mouth full of marshmallows and ice-cream

Catching up with Lalla after the show
Her mom was glowing with pride!
